Since July 2009, Sereni Orizzonti is also involved in the world of professional sport, having become a member of PAU (Udine Basketball Club), a prominent team that plays in the Italian LegaDue basket championship.

The shareholding structure consists of three main members each with shares around 20% (Udinese Calcio, Sereni Orizzonti and Snaidero group) and other important local players backing the project, such as Rizzani De Eccher group, Vidoni, Gesteco, Pilosio, Bardelli and Idealservice.

The Vice President of the new entity is Massimo Blasoni, founder of Sereni Orizzonti and Group shareholder. “The events surrounding Snaidero - explained Mr. Blasoni presenting the project - must indeed represent almost a symbol for the values it inherits: a consortium that brings together many important entrepreneurs has formed around sport. Sport has turned out to be a driver with the ability to bring many people together, beyond their differences.
